Raymond B. Palmer, attorney at law, received a Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He obtained a bachelor and masters degree in accounting from Virginia Tech, passing the 1984 certified public accountant examination in Washington, D.C. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995.
Palmer serves on the Board of the Northwest Florida NAIOP chapter, has been a member of Gulf Breeze Rotary Club since 1995, and is a past president of Pensacola Leaders. He is a past board member of the South Santa Rosa Utility, and a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust section of the Florida Bar. Palmer is an authorized title agent for Chicago Title Insurance Agency and Old Republic.
Owner of Henry Norris & Associates Architecture/Planning/Design, Norris is an award-winning architect with more than 35 years of experience providing residential and commercial designs to clients. He is an experienced professional in condominium design with an extensive background in coastal architecture. His first multi-million dollar project was completed in 1985. Since then, he has completed more than 30 other successful projects. Norris has been recognized with a Community Service Award for his work on Caribe Resort Condominiums. He achieved recognition from the American Institute of Architects with an Award of Excellence for Bella Luna Condominiums and the Pensacola Apothecary Clinic. The city of Pensacola recognized his firm with the Golden Brick Award for his Palafox Street architectural office renovation.
Norris earned two bachelor’s degrees from Auburn University within two years: Architecture in 1978 and Environmental Design in 1977. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and Standard Building Code Congress International. He and his team have been recognized repeatedly for excellence in planning, design work and community service in Pensacola, Florida, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama.
A licensed real estate professional, Rick A. Phillips has developed and marketed 19 condominium projects on the Florida and Alabama Gulf Coast. A graduate of the University of Northern Colorado, he earned an undergraduate degree in Community Recreation and a Masters in Parks and Recreation Administration.
In 1990 he launched the RE/MAX concept in the Gulf Shores area then sold out to his partners five years later. Then, he launched a Century 21 franchise which became the top producing office in the Southeast for seven of eight years, winning numerous awards for quality service as recognized by clients and customers. In 2002, Phillips converted the franchise to an independent brokerage company called ONO Professional Partners. As owner of the 82-agent group, the firm’s gross sales exceeded $105 million in 2006. Phillips also served as the marketing arm for the development team, successfully delivering 19 diverse condominium projects totaling 1,819 units with sales of more than $410 million.
Phillips was one of 17 organizers of Vision Bank, a start-up in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and the Florida Panhandle. The bank grew to 17 locations before being sold to a national holding company. Phillips served as a director on the holding company’s board and the Alabama board as well as a member of its loan and audit committee.
Active in his community, Phillips has served as past Chairman of the Board of Directors for The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. Phillips also served on the Baldwin County Association of Realtors in several capacities including president. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Baldwin County Association of Realtors, the Baldwin County Multiple Listing Service, the Pensacola Association of Realtors and the Escambia County Multiple Listing Service. He is a Certified Residential Specialist, an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Certified Relocation Professional and a Certified Realtor Broker. He has called Gulf Shores, Ala., home for more than 37 years.
